Sexual Assault Allegation 'No Further Action'

Foster & Coleman were recently instructed by a client facing an allegation to Kent Police that he had sexually assaulted a colleague.
We were provided with pre-interview disclosure by the officer in the case well in advance of an arranged voluntary interview under caution. This allowed time for us to speak with our client, obtain full instructions, and advise accordingly prior to any attendance at the police station.
We subsequently attended with our client as arranged, and advised during the course of the interview. The following day we were contacted by the officer who confirmed that the police would be taking 'no further action'.
