Thanks from a clients family

Steve Foster acted for a young man falsely accused of rape. The investigation and subsequent proceedings lasted for a number of years, before the Prosecution eventually made the inevitable decision to offer no evidence mid-way through cross-examination of the complainant.

We received the following lovely feedback from our clients father, having endured this nightmare alongside his son:

'When my son was falsely accused of a serious offence we were at a loss as a family. Having never been involved in such a matter before we did some research with friends in the legal profession, and though recommendations including judges, we found Steve Foster.

Steve is a very confident and straight-talking lawyer, and from the very start he gave both sound and accurate advice, and helped us as a family deal with what was a very frightening period.

Steve worked with us as a family, keeping us informed, stopping us going down rabbit holes whilst looking at all options, evidence, and keeping us focused on what was real and what was imagined. He built confidence in my son and helped him get through this event.

The case dragged over several years, and Steve continued to keep it in focus, and provide excellent advice when eventually it went to court, finding not one but two fantastic barristers. He himself attended every day, and at the end the case was found to have no substance and was dropped.

Steve has always been available to talk, he responds immediately at any hour of the day, and has really kept us as a family sane.

I cannot recommend him more highly, I have used many lawyers for business, Steve is a rare member of this profession, he is straight talking, keeps things in perspective and, is very effective at his job. He certainly is the “go to” lawyer in such cases.''
